CRIME AND PUNISHMENT

From my perspective regarding regulations in Colombia arises a question that several of us ponder since this question is not so simple because the adequacy of the sanction varies depending on the crime and the circumstances in which it is committed. I estimate that within the Penal Code the purpose lies in establishing penalties proportional to the severity of the crimes, taking into consideration aspects such as: The harm caused, the perpetrator's intention, recidivism, and other relevant factors.

However, it is important to note that in certain situations, sanctions can be disproportionate, as the excessive severity of penalties for drug-related offenses and inadequate penalties for corruption offenses has been criticized.

In summary, while we seek to establish appropriate punishments for violations of the law in Colombia, reality shows that there are still challenges regarding their adjustment and effective implementation. It is necessary to continue working on strengthening the justice system to achieve greater proportionality and effectiveness in criminal response.

Opinion forum on the work context.

1. You can be respectful of the environment at work by adopting practices such as reducing energy and water consumption, at this time it is very important because with climate change, and our lack of awareness, we are using rationing practices. 

2. An ecological company could offer incentives such as financial bonuses for adopting sustainable practices at work, providing additional days off for goals achieved in recycling paper, water and electricity, carrying out and participating in environmental activities such as planting trees, and creating fertilizer through of food waste. 

3. Companies can involve their employees in environmental issues by creating committees or working groups dedicated to the care of resources, such as paper recycling in offices, proper waste separation and environmental contributions at the company level, promoting a environmental culture and environmental protection

Forum for sharing work experiences

One work experience I had was at my first job. My first job was as a secretary in a stationery company. 

There he wrote and responded to emails, answered the phone, and received correspondence of invoices or orders to send to other companies. 

At first it was very difficult for me to adapt to my work, since they handled everything through Excel, and I didn't know how to use Excel much. 

So one day when I had a lot of accumulated work, I asked for advice on using Excel. 

My boss was a very noble lady, and she understood my problem, so she explained some functions to me, and paid me for a course to learn Excel at a basic level. 

 My flexibility helped me understand my difficulties, and ask for help. 

The way he helped me deal with the situation was to be honest, and show interest in my work, because I didn't want to lose it, and I wanted to learn to do it in the best way. 

I wouldn't change anything to face it, because thanks to my boss I was able to learn to use Excel, and I acquired more in-depth knowledge with the course she paid for me.
